Agenda for the WHA regular, scheduled, Board meeting will be posted at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
                                       
The Waurika Housing Authority is governed by a five member Board of Commissioners.  The Mayor of the City of Waurika appoints each position, with the consent of the City Council.  Members of the Board serve a staggered 3-year term.  The Board of Commissioners are responsible for overseeing the expenditure of federal dollars allocated for the purpose of housing low and moderate income persons and the elderly.  They help direct the management of programs that benefit approximately 95 families in our area.  They are responsible for ensuring fairness in the administration of WHA policies and employ the Executive Director, who in turn employs WHA staff.

WHA Board meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the WHA office, located at 811 Phillips Avenue, Waurika, Oklahoma.
